Pokémon Appraisal System and version 0.35.0 released

Pokémon Go Version 0.35.0 released

Today Pokémon Go version 0.35.0 (for Android) and 1.5.0 (for IOS) was released. You can find a list of the changes that were made below:

  • Implemented Pokémon Appraisal: Trainers will now be able to learn about a Pokémon’s attack and defense capabilities from their Team Leader (Candela, Blanche or Spark) to determine which of their Pokémon have the most potential for battle.
  • We are still working hard on several new and exciting features to come in the future of Pokémon GO.
  • Minor bot fixes

Pokémon Appraisal System

With the latest update comes the new Pokémon appraisal system. This new system allows you to see how good your Pokémon will be in battle against other Pokémon and your team leader will help you determine which of your Pokémon are the best. You can access the new appraisal system by selecting one of your Pokémon, Clicking the options menu in the bottom right hand corner and then selecting ‘Appraisal’. Your team leader will then take you through the different stats of your Pokémon letting you know what is good and what is bad.

Below is a list of all the appraisals that you can get from your team leader:

Team Instinct (Spark)

IV 80% – 100% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) looks like it can really battle with the best of them!

IV 67% – 79% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) is really strong!

IV 51% – 66% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) is pretty decent!

IV 0% – 50% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) has room for improvement as far as battling goes.

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 15, the maximum – Its stats are the best i’ve ever seen! No doubt about it!

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 13 or 14 – It’s stats are really strong! Impressive.

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 8 to 12 – It’s definitely got some good stats. Definitely!

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 0 to 7 – It’s stats are all right, but kinda basic, as far as I can see.

Team Valor (Candela)

IV 80% – 100% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) simply amazes me. It can accomplish anything!

IV 67% – 79% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) is a strong Pokémon. You should be proud!

IV 51% – 66% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) is a decent Pokémon.

IV 0% – 50% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) may not be great in battle, but I still like it!

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 15, the maximum – It’s got excellent stats! How Exciting!

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 13 or 14 – I’m blown away by it’s stats. WOW!

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 8 to 12 – It’s stats indicate that in battle, it’ll get the job done.

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 0 to 7 – Its stats don’t point to greatness in battle.

Team Mystic (Blanche)

IV 80% – 100% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) is a wonder! What a breathtaking Pokemon!

IV 67% – 79% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) has certainly caught my attention.

IV 51% – 66% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) is above average.

IV 0% – 50% – Overall, your (Pokémon name) is not likely to make much headway in battle.

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 15, the maximum – Its stats exceeded my calculations. It’s incredible!

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 13 or 14 – I am certainly impressed by its stats, I must say.

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 8 to 12 – Its stats are noticeably trending to the positive.

Pokémon has at least one stat with a bonus (IV) value of 0 to 7 – Its stats are not out of the norm, in my opinion.
